Azeri oil revenues

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reports that since 2001, the company has received more than $97 billion USD from selling oil and gas. Of course this money is not going only to Azerbaijan, but distributed among the large players as BP, Chevron, Statoil, Exxon and others.

More and more experts urge Azerbaijan to diversify its economy and develop non-oil sectors so that the country can secure its future.
