Reinforced Platoon Returned to Georgia from Afghanistan

Reinforced Platoon of the 13th Battalion of I Infantry Brigade of GAF returned to the homeland from Afghanistan. Military servicemen of Shavnabada battalion had been carrying out the ISAF international mission under U.S. Command on the Phoenix base for 8 months. The main task of the Georgian soldiers was providing security measures for the U.S. base.
A peacekeeping unit of the 13th battalion replaced the reinforced platoon of the same battalion. The official replacement ceremony was held at base Phoenix a week ago.
