Iran-Georgia economic prospects

Iran is considering using Azerbaijani railways to establish a connection with the Black Sea. Azerbaijan itself is connected to the Black Sea though Georgian railways. There is a great potential for Iran and Georgia to further deepen their economic relations especially in the transport field.

According to the Iranian embassy, there are around 6,000 businesspeople and about 1,500 Iranian companies active in Georgia.
