Georgia expects 1 billion USD FDI

Analysts think that around $1 billion USD in FDI will enter Georgia in 2014. The World Bank estimation is rather similar. Analysts also say that this amount is not enough for Georgia’s economic development. To progress, the country needs to at least double this amount annually.
$865 million USD FDI entered the country in 2012, while in 2013 it was $914 million USD.
