The state budget has problems. There are questions why certain projects are not being implemented. In the first month of 2014, 90 million GEL was spent on infrastructural projects, whereas, 200 million GEL was allocated for such projects. More than 90 million GEL was targeted to be spent on roads. However only 43 million was spent. 127 million was envisaged to be spent on municipal infrastructure rehabilitation projects and only 32 million has been spent thus far. The Centre for Economic Policy Research studied this field and made figures published.
