Kakheti region of Georgia has been successfully yielding good harvests over the last few years. This year, it seems there will be another good harvest season in the region.
Presumably, Georgia will be able to produce more high quality wines and increase their production and sales. So far, from the beginning of the year Georgia exported almost 23,000,000 bottles of wine in 32 foreign countries. The country has received more than 73 million USD from the business. The biggest importers of wine are: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Holland and Latvia followed by China, Litvania, Belarus, Estonia and Azerbaijan.
