Elguja Khokrishvili met the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Elguja Khokrishvili met the delegation of Israel being in Georgia with official visit. The delegation of Israel was leaded by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel, Yair Shamir.
The sides discussed prospects of cooperation and the mutual sharing of experience between the two countries in terms of local governance, rural development and raising the living standards of the rural population.
“Georgia and Israel already have a good practice of co-operation, but I hope that as a result of my visit, co-operation between two countries will become deeper and we shall good partners. This will help us to share our technologies and experience. I brought representatives of 13 large Jewish companies who are ready to do business in Georgia, "- said Yair Shamir.
"We discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the issue of sharing of experience between the two ministries. In addition, after the signing of the association agreement, we will work closely with Israel in different directions”, - Elguja Khokrishvili said.
At the end of the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel, Yair Shamir invited the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Elguja Khokrishvili to Israel.
