President Ilham Aliyev reviews Baku Olympic Stadium progress

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the progress of the construction at the Baku Olympic Stadium.
The head of state was informed that the 70,000-seat stadium would be built in a modern architectural style and occupy a special place among similar facilities, APA reports quoting AzerTAc. The stadium, to be built to international standards, will have stands with different functions, running tracks and other infrastructure. The facility will consist of the main and auxiliary stadiums, an auxiliary building, as well as sections for VIP, CIP, media and disabled spectators.
The President then reviewed the environmental project around Lake Boyukshor and adjacent areas.
The head of state also reviewed the construction of the Hasan Aliyev Street-Ziya Bunyadov Avenue-Olympic Stadium highway. President Ilham Aliyev was informed of the construction of road junctions and pedestrian crossings on a M4 18km Bilgah-Novkhani-Shamakhi highway. (News.Az)
