Unofficial Meeting with Lithuanian Colleague

Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Alasania met with his Lithuanian colleague Juozas Olekas at Tbilisi International Airport. Minister of Defence of Lithuania arrived in Tbilisi on his way from Afghanistan to Lithuania.

At the informal meeting Irakli Alasania thanked Juozas Olekas for the political support of Lithuania to Georgia. The sides talked about the bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Lithuania, Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration issues, international mission in Afghanistan and post-ISAF period. Deputy Defence Minister Antanas Valys, Chief of Joint Staff Brigadier General Vimantas Tamosaitis and MPs were among the members of the delegation.
