International Exercise “Eternity 2014”

The Multinational Computer Based Exercise "Eternity 2014" has started at National Training Center “Krtsanisi”. Three countries - Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan are taking part in the military exercise. The representatives of Strategic Pipeline Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are also involved in the multinational training. Multinational exercise is held under the leadership of General Staffs of the Georgian and Turkish Armed Forces. The aim of the exercise is to create multinational brigade and develop effective strategic cooperation with regard to pipeline protection. The scenario is based on the principles of peacekeeping operations and effective protection of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in crisis situation. Multinational exercise “Eternity 2014” will come to an end on September 26.
