Georgian Military Participate in “Invictus Games”

Defence Minister of Georgia Irakli Alasania and First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the GAF, Brigadier General Vladimir Chachibaia met with the military servicemen participated in “Invictus Games”. Irakli Alasania took part in the shooting competition together with the military servicemen wounded in August War 2008, international missions or during performing service duty.

The competition was held under the initiative of Special Operation Forces. Similar events aim to raise combat spirit and motivation for wounded and amputated military, as well as to participate in sport events actively during rehabilitation process.
