Chief of General Staff meets with DEEP Representatives

The representatives of NATO Defence Education Enhancement Program pays an official visit to Georgia. Giorgi Antsukhelidze NCO Center is hosting the DEEP working group led by Robert Antis.
Chief of General Staff of the GAF, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze met with the foreign guests. At the introductory meeting Chief of General Staff talked about the importance of improving sergeants’ corps and highlighted to boost up educational level of the sergeants. The sides also referred to the future cooperation plans.
The DEEP working group will also visit Giorgi Antsukhelidze NCO Center and receive comprehensive information about it. Currently, NCO Center is under transformation process. The curriculum is being transformed into NATO standards. NATO DEEP working group will support and assist the NCO Center in the reforming process. DEEP assists Georgian MoD in military educational direction.
