British coach holds a master class for Georgian military

Thirteen Georgian soldiers wounded in action during the fight for Georgia`s territorial integrity and in the ISAF international mission are going through active preparation for the San Diego international competition. The soldiers are being trained by the sitting volleyball team coach Richard Osborne of the UK Ministry of Defence. The British coach who arrived in Georgia prior to the championship, gave the final instructions to the Georgina participants.

Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze and the UK Defence Attache, LTC Nick Wilkes attended the master class held in the MoD. They emphasized the Georgian military`s high preparedness level and morale.

Between 1-12 March of the current year, international competitions Wounded Warrior Games are due to be held at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton of California with participation of the wounded military servicemen with physical disabilities. 350 such servicemen from ten countries including from the non-NATO country, Georgia will take part in the competition.
