GEL Strengthened against Dollar

The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate, according to which the GEL has slightly gained value against the dollar.

1 USD will cost GEL 2.2826 from June 9. The previous rate was GEL 2.2937.

According to the new exchange rate, the lari strengthened against the Euro, too. From June 9, 1 EUR will cost 2.5396 GEL, while the previous rate was - 2.5758 GEL. (Frontnews)
