Turkmenistan, Georgia sign package of intergovernmental documents

A package of intergovernmental documents was signed during the visit of Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov to Georgia on July 2-3, said the message from Turkmen government.
The following documents were signed between Turkmenistan and Georgia: memorandum on cooperation between the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and Georgia’s National Academy of Sciences; a memorandum of understanding between Turkmen Finance Ministry and Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia on cooperation in exchange of financial information related to the money laundering and financing terrorism.
Moreover, the sides inked such documents as a memorandum of understanding in the sphere of sports between Turkmenistan’s State Sports Committee and Georgia’s Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs; memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of education between Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education and Georgia’s Ministry of Education and Science; agreement between the governments of Turkmenistan and Georgia on cooperation in the sphere of culture and art and on Turkmen-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
