Air Mobile Training in Kojori

Infantry officers in training at the Junior Officers School of Davit Agmashenebeli National Defence Academy are currently undertaking a course in Kojori. A total of 33 officer cadets are carrying out final field situational tasks. Currently, the junior officers are undergoing air mobile training. Future platoon commanders are performing how to tactically board helicopters, disembark and evacuate the injured, amongst other tasks.
Field exercises last for 6 days. During the course, the officer cadets perform various tactical, engineer and topographic tasks. Their preparedness is tested by the NDA instructors according to the combat preparedness planning and evaluation program.
The participants of Junior Officers Course have already underwent six month long Junior Officers Training Candidate Course. The program started on February 2 and will come to an end on August 20. After the course, the junior officers will continue their service in various units of the Georgian Armed Forces.
