Two delegations from Georgia to leave for USA

Two separate delegations will leave for the United States from Georgia. One delegation is lead by the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and another by the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili.
Garibashvili will visit the United States on September 25, while the President will arrive there on September 27.
The Prime Minister will attend the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly and on October 1 he will deliver a speech at the session.
According to the PM, several bilateral meetings are planned during his visit, however the exact program of the meetings is not known yet.
As for the President, he will visit New York City and Washington DC. He will take part in the discussion - Future of Eastern Europe: Strengthening the Role of Women, where he was invited by Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.
He will also hold a number of bilateral meetings in New York. Public speeches are planned in Washington. Moreover, Margvelashvili is going to visit Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
It has been scheduled that during his visit in the USA, President Margvelashvili will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko.
The visits will end on October 2. According to reports, both the Prime Minister and the President will be accompanied by quite large delegations.
It is hard to explain to ordinary citizens why does the country need two high rank delegations when the country faces serious financial challenges.
