British Trainer’s Master Class in Sitting Volleyball

Military servicemen wounded in battle for the territorial integrity of Georgia and ISAF international missions are going through professional preparation in sitting volleyball with the assistance of the UK Defence Ministry trainer Richard Osborn. This is his second working visit in Georgia. He prepared the wounded soldiers for the international competition in San Diego. The professional trainer is staffing the team with new players and prepares the Georgian military service members for the championship planned in the United States in May.
Deputy Minister of Defence Ana Dolidze, Deputy Chief of the General Staff COL Roman Jokhadze and UK Defence Attache, LTC Nick Wilkes attended the master class held in the MoD. They underlined the high preparedness level and spirit of the Georgian military that is essential for any competition.
The Georgian military servicemen won the championship in sitting volleyball. International competitions “Wounded Warriors Games” will be conducted at the Marine Infantry Base of California State-Pendleton on 1-12 March.
