Field Training on Orpolo Firing Ground

The III Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces held field training – including a live-firing exercise - on the Orpolo Firing Ground. The reinforced company of the 31st Battalion and artillery division of the III Infantry Brigade participated in the training. Head of West Command of the Land Forces, Colonel Mikheil Sadunishvili, and the Commander of the III Infantry Brigade, LTC Roland Kiknavelidze, attended the demonstrative exercise.
During the exercise, the reinforced company carried out a defensive operation in which artillery support was called in.
The training began on September 22 and came to an end on October 5. A total of 140 infantry soldiers participated in the exercise along with the gunners of the III Infantry Brigade.
