12-month target: Georgia’s state budget to be fulfilled in surplus

Georgia is ending the year 2015 on a financial high - the state budget fulfilled its revenue plan and is experiencing a significant surplus.
Georgia’s candidate for the post of Finance Minister, Nodar Khaduri, released the preliminary information about the 2015 year’s budget.
Khaduri said that as of December 28, Georgia’s state budget incomes have been fulfilled 100 percent and amounted to 9.7 billion GEL.
The year’s state budget revenues reached eight billion GEL, 27.8 million GEL more than expected.
During the same time period, the state budget’s expenditure reached 9.5 billion GEL, which was 98.8 percent of the annual plan for the budget expenditures.
Earlier this year, Khaduri announced Georgia would have about 10 billion GEL in the state budget in 2016. (Agenda.ge)
