Book released about famous Georgian composer

A book about Alexi Matchavariani, a famous Georgian composer, was published in Germany, and is now available in bookstores in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The book was written by Georgian music critic Manana Kordsaia; 7000 copies have been printed so far.
The book described the life and the work of the historical composer, who stands amongst the greatest musicians of the 20th century. Inspired by national traditions and classical heritage, Alexi Matchavariani composed world-level music.
Music critics have commented on the special merit of Matchavariani’s achievements and his devotion to democratic ideals; GEMA, a magazine, was particularly complimentary of the Georgian composer. The book was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the composer.
