The Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Issues has made a decision to permit a Georgian language studying pilot program in some of its schools.
The move came after years of negotiations between the Georgian Embassy in Greece and the Greek Government.
As the Greek Ministry has announced, the programme will be launched in one of Athens’ schools, where currently many Georgian students receive their education.
The Georgian Government will provide financial and logistic support for the programme while the curriculum will be planned and implemented in adherence to Greece’s legislation and educational regulations.
