UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrives to Georgia

The Secretary General of the United Nations, (UN) Ban Ki-moon, is scheduled to arrive in Georgia on April 23-24, for what will be his second visit to the country since 1994.
Ban Ki-Moon, 72, a South Korean statesman and politician who is the eighth and current head of the UN, was invited to the country by Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
The former diplomat will hold meetings with leading Georgian legislative and executive officials and take part in other events within a planned agenda, Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
After his two-day visit, Ban Ki-moon will travel to both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
