Thursday, November 3
The central bank of the Netherlands is praising the supervisory reporting system of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
A delegation from the De Nederlandsche Bank visited NBG in order to get acquainted with the supervisory reporting system of Georgia’s central bank, announced the NBG today.
Representatives from the DNB and NBG exchanged their views on data quality, risk data aggregation and reporting, as well as the associated supervisory approach of each central bank in respect to the abovementioned topics.
During the consultations, the NBG demonstrated the use of its in-house supervisory report processing system, which was assessed positively by the visiting delegation from the DNB.
During the visit, the parties also agreed on holding a conference on the "Supervision of Data Quality with Respect to Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting” for central bankers in Tbilisi, which is planned for June, 2017. (Agenda.ge)
