ATC to train its employees

Future employees at ATC, the factory which will produce aircraft materials, are being trained in the factory of Elbit Cyclone, located in Haifa, Israeli. It is a joint project developed by the Partnership Fund and Elbit Cyclone, an Israeli company.
At present, six employees including aviation engineers, technicians and operators of ATC receive instructions in designing aircraft composite parts as well as production process.
A specific training is required in order to achieve excellent Engineering, Manufacturing and inspection of quality parts. The training program combines theoretical courses on different levels together with practical experience.
Each operator is trained to get basic theoretical knowledge in addition to On Job training (OJT) for a specific field in the process.
Retraining process of the employees will last throughout the year. Some other specialists will also join these professional training sessions. Around 80 employees will be trained and employed by the time the factory starts operation, while 200 locals will be employed in total finally.
In parallel, ATC continues recruitment process intensively. The company has placed an announcement at ATC’s Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ATC.Factory.Georgia/) page and its homepage (http://www.atccomposite.com/).
Construction works for ATC, a joint project by the Partnership Fund and Elbit Cyclone are now underway. Under the plan, the construction of the facility and equipment of the factory will last until the end of 2017 and the factory will be put into operation in 2018.
The factory will produce aircraft doors, aerodynamic surfaces and other aircraft components made from the composite materials. 100 % of the production manufactured by the Plant will be exported. This high-tech manufacturing factory is being built close to the Tbilisi International Airport.
