Qatari investment company explores Georgia

The Alfardan Group, one of the largest investment companies in Qatar, is interested in investing in Georgia.

The main fields of interests for the Alfardan Group in Georgia are tourism and the industrial zone.

To explore the investment opportunities Georgia has to offer the company's President and CEO Omar Hussain Alfardan visited Georgia last week.

Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili personally hosted the honourable guest.

At the meeting Kvirikashvili introduced various investment projects to Alfardan that the investor may implement in the future.

At the end of the meeting, Alfardan shared his impressions with Kvirikashvili, saying that Georgia was an important investment destination for the company.

He also promised to continue close cooperation with Georgia on a number of projects.
