Official travel information website to open in Armenia

An official travel information website will open in Armenia, the head of the State Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia, Zarmine Zeytuntsyan, told journalists on Wednesday.

In her words, information verified by the state will be placed on the website of Armenia Travel. Thus, one will not have to choose package tours, taxis and hotels at their own risk. Thanks to the website, tourists will be able to draw their own route and see what services can be made use of.

It is planned to hold the presentation of this website in large Russian cities. Russian Armenians, for their part, proposed to open information centers for future tourists in their cities.
