10 Students with Full Scholarship to Study at SDSU

San Diego State University Georgia (SDSU Georgia), Millenium Challenge Account Georgia (MCA Georgia) and the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation (GPF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel on July 19.
SDSU Georgia Dean, Halili Guven, Executive Director of the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) - Magda Magradze, Director of the GPF, Zurab Kervalishvili participated in the ceremony.
GPF offered 10 full scholarships this year to successful students of SDSU Georgia’s upcoming cohort and financed their studies in the San Diego State University.
SDSU pays special attention to cooperation with private and public sectors. For this purpose the university has created Private and Public Sector Partnership Foundation (PPPF), which will enable students receive higher education in accordance with international standards in natural sciences and technological fields.
Magradze noted that this is a ‘vital opportunity’ for the students.
“Together with the university, we created a special Public Private Partnership Fund (PPPF). We obtained more than $3 million in funds. We decided to sign a MoU with GPF, which will reward 10 successful students, who will start their first year of university with a full scholarship,” said Magradze.
Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili educational fund aims to develop education system in Georgia. Fund's priorities include school education, professional education and higher education.
