Imedi TV publishes Gallup International pre-election poll
According to the Gallup International Pre-election Research, if today was the second round of elections day, 28 % would vote for Salome Zurabishvili, 26% for Grigol Vashadze, and 36% - undecided. 9% is not selecting any of the candidates.
Imedi TV informs that Gallup International’s poll was held from 16-18 November all across Georgia except for occupied territories and 2400 people were asked to vote. The poll’s margin of error is +/- 2%.
Imedi TV said the estimation method included all gender and age representatives across all regions of the country and that the first round election results were taken into consideration.
Gallup International Association (GIA) is an association of polling organizations registered in Zurich, Switzerland.
Number of voters increased for second round of elections
The list of voters has increased by 9 781 people after the first round of election - 3 528 658 people were recorded in the list for the second round.
According to the Central Election Commission, there are various reasons for the above-mentioned data:
Electors who will be 18 years old by the 28th of November, dead people who were deleted from the list, registered electors abroad, people who did not have ID cards for the first round.
It is noteworthy that in comparison with the first round, more than 134 people have been registered to participate in the elections abroad.
The second round of Georgia’s presidential elections will be held on November 28, according to the decision of the Central Election Commission.
