Georgian and Armenian PM meet informally in the Georgian town of Bolnisi
Georgian and Armenian Prime Ministers, Mamuka Bakhtadze and Nikol Pashinyan, met informally on Tuesday in the Georgian town of Bolnisi, which is resided by ethnic minorities, Armenians among them.
The goal of the visit was meeting with ethnic Armenian population in Georgia.
Bilateral relations were disused during the meeting of Bakhtadze and Pashinyan.
Bakhtadze congratulated Pashinyan on his recent appointment to the prime minister’s post and stated that he believed current bilateral relations between Georgia and Armenia will be further enhanced, Georgian PM’s press office reported.
Pashinyan thanked for the congratulation and emphasized the importance of Armenian- Georgian relations in many fields, the Armenian news agency-news.am reported.
Ten citizens of Georgia expelled from Ireland
Ten citizens of Georgia have returned to the homeland by a charter flight from Ireland, - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia said on January 15.
According to the Ministry, the citizens have “breached the rules of staying in Ireland.”
The Interior Ministry told InterPressNews that due to the personal data protection regulation, the Ministry does not provide detailed information regarding the issue.
