Georgia will be represented at Sirha, a large-scale gastronomy exhibition in Lyon.
The most prestigious gastronomy contest, Bocuse D’Or takes place at the same time. Georgia’s participation under ‘The Art of Feast' theme is organized by Gastronaut, a business agency of food establishment.
Young Georgian chefs will demonstrate a modern interpretation of traditional Georgian cuisine and the authentic ingredients.
Georgians will have a chance to use the opportunity in order to stand at the heart of the world food service business, benefit from the audience and the professionals attending the event, display innovation capacity that can make the difference on the market today and boost their business in France and abroad.
Georgian company Stipfold is responsible for the design of exhibition.
Stipfold is not aiming for pleasing as many eyes as possible, but rather evoking viewer's curiosity regarding the work and its author and inducing strong emotional resonance, even when the object doesn't fit into the observer's personal aesthetics.
The Georgian corner comprises the open and closed kitchens. Cooking will take place in the open kitchen and the process will be displayed on a large screen. The dishes will be available at two different spaces: a spot with the traditional low tables, a sofa and the pillows, embellished with Georgian textiles, and an open area with a Georgian Feast installation.
A separate, wine tasting section is decorated with three top parts of Kvevri models.
The exhibition will take place on 26th – 30th January 2019.
Sirha, which is the world hospitality and food service event, features sectors dedicated to food products, equipment and services for professionals. Sirha hosts 21 contests for all trades and five animation stages.
