WizzAir Offers New Routes from Kutaisi

WizzAir will offer new routes from Kutaisi in 2019-2020.
Negotiations between the government of Georgia and Wizz Air are going on.
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kobulia talked about new flights.
He discussed the launch of direct flights in 2019-2020 to 10 additional directions.
Kutaisi – Madrid, Kutaisi – Nice, Kutaisi – Marseille, Kutaisi – Bordeaux, Kutaisi – Stuttgart, Kutaisi – Oslo, Kutaisi – Helsinki, Kutaisi – Kishinev, Kutaisi – Stockholm, Kutaisi – Dusseldorf.
Tickets for the new routes will be available through Wizz Air's website.
Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, flies to and from Kutaisi airport and offers cheap flights to Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania and Poland.
Currently, Wizz Air operates flights from Kutaisi Airport to 21 directions of 13 countries in total.
The company started flights from Kutaisi Airport since September 2012.
Kutaisi International Airport is fully operated by United Airports of Georgia. The airport was rebuilt in 2012 and is the first international airport in the region, offering cost-efficient airline services.
The airport is equipped with the highest quality navigation and weather systems has 2,500 m runway and can simultaneously serve up to 600 passengers, receive 2 and depart 3 flights.
