Project ArtBeat presents two solo shows

Project ArtBeat is presenting two solo exhibitions: by Gvantsa Jishkariani and Tamo Jugeli.
The opening ceremony will take place on 21 February at Project ArtBeat, which is a contemporary art gallery based in Tbilisi.
The show will run from 21 February to 7 April.
Jishkariani’s show - ‘Who will record history?’- will feature works that address first and foremost the topics of expectations, beliefs and taste. Gvantsa’s art is inspired by serendipity and intuition. She starts each work with preconceived composition and idea, but mostly without preliminary sketches.
Jishkariani's primary medium is installation. The temporary nature of the paradox that arises when searching for concrete definitions of right and wrong, east and west, old and new is one of her subjects of interest.
Gvantsa Jishkariani is based in Rustavi, Georgia, who graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Art (BA in Architecture). She is also the winner of Tsinandali Award in visual arts.
Tamo Jugeli’s first solo exhibition will be held at Project ArtBeat gallery, which will be accompanied by the publication of her first artist book.
Tamo is a self-taught young artist who only started painting two years ago but has entered the Georgian art scene like a comet. After her first exhibition at Art Villa Garikula residency, she instantly gained recognition and support in Georgia but not only.
Project ArtBeat is an innovative start-up in the art sphere. The aim is to offer carefully selected Georgian and Caucasian artists to the international community, which will be mainly achieved through an online platform.
Another mission is to make the information about the various processes in the art spheres of Georgia and the Caucasus publicly available.
Project ArtBeat team in collaboration with artists and art professionals is planning different art projects, which will help promote Georgian and Caucasian contemporary art to local and international communities but also introduce international artists and projects to the region.
