TBC Bank case may be discussed in parliament

The TBC-bank related controversial case, where the law enforcers are investigating the supposed money laundering involving top TBC figures in 2007-2008 may be discussed in parliament.

“It is legitimate to ask why the investigation was launched into what happened 11 years ago and this question should be answered, -Mamuka Mdinaradze, one of the leaders of the ruling party says.

Mdinaradze said that it is important that the process is transparent and all questions are answered.

"It is a fact that the government has no interest in this process. In case of necessity and desire, this issue may be discussed in the relevant parliamentary committee," Mdinaradze said.
