Georgian kickboxer wins World Championship

Georgian kickboxer Davit Kiria won the World Championship in China (KUNLUN World Championship) on Sunday.
He won two fights and gained the belt of world champion for the third time in his career (-70 kg weight category).
In the final, Kiria met Marouan Toutouh (Morocco). After five tense rounds, Kiria won (29-29, 28-29, 30-29, 30-27, 30-29).
Kiria was born in the small town of Zugdidi in western Georgia.
He managed to cling on despite the knockout from a trademark Andy Ristie's knee strike.
His trainers are Sjef Weber, Nieky Holzken and Bachuki Partsvania.
