Workshop ‘Developing and Releasing and Promoting Online Digital Music Content'

The workshop ‘Developing and Releasing and Promoting Online Digital Music Content’ took place on March 6 at Fabrika Tbilisi.
The workshop conducted by the representatives of the Boiler Room (BR) is part of the British Council Program Selector PRO.
BR representatives shared their experience with the participants of the workshop on increasing their audience and third-party involvement in marketing activities. The audience was able to ask the leading online broadcaster representatives questions and introduce local conditions, needs and challenges.
The program aims to share the UK experience of licensing and rights of music products in the UK to share the UK experience with Georgian professionals to build on their existing knowledge, experience and enhance their skills.
Program idea originated from the British Council's music radio program "Selector", which was regularly broadcasted in Georgia on Radio Green Wave (FM 107.4) since 2010. The latest British music, interviews with musicians and live music sessions as live and broadcast as recorded was available on this radio program.
Michail Stangl, who is the Director of BR Germany, is probably the most renowned BR host, and he has been involved in this project since its early beginnings.
“We want to share our experience with young musicians who will work with digital music content and develop a career in electronic music. We chose Tbilisi because electronic music is connected with important social and cultural events here,” Michail Stangl said.
On March 1st, Georgian nightclub KHIDI partnered up with Boiler Room for the all-night live stream from its main room. KHIDI's residents: Regal, Shlømo, Yanamaste, Othr, Roman, Frequency Shifter performed together with Imperial Black Unit Black (live) from Aufnahme + Wiedergabe.
Boiler Room is a global online music broadcasting platform commissioning and streaming live music sessions around the world. Founded in London, England, the UK in 2010, Boiler Room has now hosted shows in around 100 cities worldwide, from Stockholm to Shanghai.
