About 3000 Russian and Abkhazian soldiers participate in military exercises in occupied Abkhazia
Military training was launched with the participation of Russian and Abkhazian soldiers in occupied Abkhazia. Some 3000 troops and up to 400 military equipment are involved in the exercise.

Azerbaijani journalist’s health condition worsened
Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli, who is considered as a prisoner of conscience, is facing health problems in prison and it was reported that he is not receiving the necessary treatment.
Leyla Mustafayeva, Afgan Mukhtarli's wife, writes that his husband's health condition has worsened.
“#AfganMukhtarli's health situation has deteriorated. Severe aches have started in his eyes and complications in the urinary system. He suffers from high blood pressure & type 2 diabetes. Prison doctors have not examined him yet,” reads the post by Leyla Mustafayeva.
Mukhtarli, known for criticizing the authorities, immigrated to Georgia in 2014.
He disappeared from Tbilisi on May 29, 2017, and appeared in Baku prison the next day.
Mukhtarli said that officers of the Georgian criminal police participated in his abduction.
75% of healthcare facilities are not wheelchair accessible
More than 75% of healthcare facilities do not have adequate access for wheelchairs and for independent movement from the main entrance of the building, reports a survey that has been conducted with the help of “Accessible Environment for Everyone.”
"85% of general-purpose sanitary spots are completely inaccessible without the help of others for the use of wheelchair users,” reads the report.
The majority of survey participants featured wheelchair users.
The survey encompassed an examination of about 15 medical institutions.
