Georgian karate athletes' success in Poland

On May 12-13 annual international karate tournament took place in Poland, Szczecin. Georgia’s team of Shotokan Karate Confederation participated in the tournament along with about 1000 sportsmen.
Although it was the first time for Georgian karatekas to participate in the tournament, the athletes competed successfully in this prestigious competition organized by the World Karate Federation: Andria Karbaia won a gold medal in the category of 13-14-year-old boys in individual kata, and Mzechabuk Makharadze took the silver medal in the senior category of individual kata.
