Roman Kakulia: If Georgia were a normal country, Interior Minister would resign

In his interview with PalitraNews, Chairperson of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Roman Kakulia, talked about the demands of protestors saying that Interior Minister Giorgi Gakharia should resign.

As he noted, Gakharia is not the person who “only cares about his chair.” According to him, the Interior Minister would have resigned if the situation in the country was normal.

"While there is a political force, which is very violent, you have a high tolerance towards the mistakes made by the government and this is a problem,” noted Kakulia.

Kakulia also stressed that he is sure that Gakharia is the one who “cares about the situation the most.”
