A training program for young people living in the regions of Georgia has been launched.
Beneficiaries trained within the program will create tech startups and digitize Georgian tourist sites and exhibits in the collections of the National Museum of Georgia.
The program will also create a digital education platform that is accessible to all regional users and teaches them free modules for creating their own startups and business English. The program is being implemented within the framework of the British Council's Creative Spark project. British Council Initiative: 'Creative Spark: Entrepreneurial Education Program’ aimed at promoting higher education reforms and student employment in Georgia and other participating countries.
The program is implemented by the Business and Technology University (BTU), in partnership with the Georgian National Museum (GNM) and the University of Westminster.
The University of Westminster was founded in the UK in 1838 and is today one of the world's leading universities.
The British Education Regional Hub operates at the University of Business and Technology, initiating the digitization of images of the ancient humans - Zezva and Mzia at the Dmanisi Museum-Reserve in May 2019. Today, the image of the first Europeans can be viewed in augmented reality with a specially designed application.
The presentation of the program took place on October 29 at Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia by David Lortkipanidze - Director of the National Museum of Georgia, Nino Enukidze - Rector of BTU, Ketevan Zurashvili from Georgian National Tourism Administration and Maia Darchia of the British Council.
