Audit Office publishes report on payroll additions of State Representative-Governor Administrations

The total amount of payroll additions and bonuses issued by state agencies in 9 months amounted to GEL 167.8 million, according to the Budget Monitor of the State Audit Office. Out of the regions, most of the additions and bonuses, namely, GEL 27.3 thousand were issued in Kvemo Kartli.

For the administration of the State Representative-Governor in Abasha, Zugdidi, Martvili, Mestia, Senaki, Chkhorotsku, Tsalenjikha, Khobi Municipalities and in the Municipality of the City of Poti a total of GEL 17,9 thousand was issued, out of which GEL 2,4 thousand was for additions and GEL 15,5 thousand for bonuses.

Administration of the State Representative-Governor in the Municipalities of Bagdati, Vani, Zestaponi, Terjola, Samtredia, Sachkhere, Tkibuli, Tskaltubo, Chiatura, Kharagauli, Khoni and Self-Government City Kutaisi has received GEL 15,3 thousand, out of which 14,4 thousand was spent on bonuses and GEL 950 on additions.

As for the Administration of the State Representative-Governor in Bolnisi, Gardabani, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro, Marneuli, Tsalka and Rustavi Municipalities, it spent over GEL 35,5 thousand on payroll additions, out of which 8,2 thousand was spent on bonuses and 27,3 thousand on additions.

Administration of State Representative-Governor in Lanchkhuti, Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri municipalities spent GEL 1,2 thousand on additions.

Payroll additions in 9 months amounted to GEL 1,2 thousand in the Administration of State Representative-Governor in Akhmeta, Gurjaani, Dedoplistskaro, Telavi, Lagodekhi, Sagaredjo, Signagi and Kvareli Municipalities.

For the payroll additions in the Administration of State Representative-Governor in Dusheti, Tianeti, Mtskheta and Kazbegi municipalities, GEL 3 thousand was spent.

GEL 2,2 thousand was spent on additions and bonuses in the Administration of State Representative-Governor in Ambrolauri, Lentekhi, Oni, and Tsageri Municipalities.

The Administration of State Representative-Governor Administration in Adigeni, Aspindza, Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki, Borjomi and Ninotsminda Municipalities has not issued any payroll additions.

Administration of the State Representative-Governor in the Gori, Kaspi, Kareli and Khashuri Municipalities has issued only GEL 675 for payroll additions.

According to the Budget Monitoring, in the first 9 months of 2019, salaries of those employed in the public sector amounted to GEL 1.1 billion, which is GEL 53 million higher than the number from the same period of 2018.

In January-September of 2019, the total amount of additions and bonuses in the public offices amounted to GEL 167,8 million. In the same period, last year GEL 149 million was issued for payroll additions.

The Government-issued bonuses for the first nine months of 2019 amounted to GEL 4.8 million. The salary additions amounted to GEL 163 million, which is 15% more than the figure from the same period of the previous year.

The Government has spent a total of GEL 141 million on bonuses, this year. The number has increased by GEL 22 million since January-September of the previous year.

Travel expenses have also increased by 3,7 million. During the 9 months of 2019, the Government has spent GEL 62,3 million on local and international travel. According to the Budget Monitor, business travel expenses for the same period in 2018 were GEL 58,6 million.
