The Ukrainian delegation will meet with the Russian delegation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. The information is spread by President Zelensky.
The result of the conversation with Alexander Lukashenko:
We agreed that the Ukrainian delegation would meet with the Russian delegation without prior reservation on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border near the Pripyat River.
“Alexander Lukashenko has promised that all planes, helicopters and missiles deployed in Belarus will remain on the ground during the Ukrainian delegation's journey, talks and return,” Zelensky wrote.
According to Zelensky, he “does not believe much in the outcome of the planned Ukraine-Russia talks on the Belarusian border, but is ready to try.”
As Zelensky noted in the video address, he and all high-ranking officials remain in Ukraine.
“I honestly do not believe in the outcome of these talks, but I'm ready to try. So that no Ukrainian citizen will think that I, as President, did not try to stop the war when there was even a small chance. As long as our troops are there.
“The president is here, the prime minister is here, the army is here, the army chief is here, we will all defend our country and our borders,” Zelensky said.
